Slavic Experience

Today we drove south (a bit too far south when I got the directions wrong) to The Slavic Experience.  It's a Slavic festival in St. Louis Park, MN.  It ended up being a little less than we expected but we had a nice time and got to talk to some nice people.

We bought some Paczki.  They were just okay.

I also bought a Polish beer.

And there was an accordion band.

That was about it.  Oh there were young children ballroom dancing but I didn't take any photos.  I was taking photos of the cars.  

This is our last real day in Minneapolis.  Tomorrow we pack and then we hit the road.  We camp one night in Minnesota and then go on to Canada.  We have a month long stay in Winnipeg, MB.  We are looking forward to seeing new things.

Last night I played in another pinball tournament and did much better than I have done in the other 3 I have played.  I can tell I am getting better which is fun.

I only took one photo.  This is a high level player in the Minneapolis area.  He's ranked 529th. 

I mostly took this photo because he is wearing a District 82 shirt.  District 82 is just outside of Green Bay, WI.  I have been watching a lot of pinball on YouTube and most of the tournaments I have been watching on Fox Cities Pinball have taken place at District 82.
