The Theme Park of Food

 Fairfield, OH

Heading to the World of Ramen at Jungle Jim's

Jungle Jim's International Market

Today we drove north to Fairfield, OH to visit a new county and visit Jungle Jim's International Market.  Jungle Jim's is a place people from Cincinnati take visitors.  It's a grocery store that is listed on Trip Advisor.  It has been described as The Theme Park of Food.  I described it as the Fry's Electronics of Grocery Stores.

Jungle Jim's is a maze of groceries in a giant warehouse with a monorail (it isn't operating right now and they purchased the monorail from Kings Island).  We found way more than we needed.  It was a great trip and I am sure we will be back before we leave Cincinnati.

The Entrance is like a Rainforest Café, sort of

They have a large collectible toy store

You can find cutting boards in the shame of the surrounding states.

This is the first animatronic we came across.  It wasn't working.

Need some ground Wild Boar?

Ground Rabbit?

Ground Yak?

How about ground goat?

They have all kinds of giant decorations like this Amish Buggy

Luckily the Singing "Elvis" was working

The entrance to the regular bathrooms were port-a-potty doors.

Amish Style butter

We bought some cured meets

The General Mills band was rocking 50s tunes

They had a giant hot sauce selection

Robin Hood tells you about the savings you can have here

Cool looking tinned fish from Scandinavia

They even had a barber shop.

When we go back we will take advantage of their beer sampling.

After we got back I went over to MOTR Pub to play some pinball.  They have Stern Insider Connection and the games are only 50 cents each.

Donna took a photo of Francis waiting for me to come home.  He isn't used to us not being in the same place.

That's it for today.  Now I am going to eat my snacks we picked up at Jungle Jim's.  If you missed East Fork State Park & Skyline Chili you can check it out.
