Blanton Museum of Art at The University of Texas Austin
Today we hit up The Blanton Museum of Art. It is undergoing renovations and partially closed so I had low expectations but it was awesome! We used our NARM pass to get in so we didn't feel pressure to get "full value".

| "I will light you up" was shouted by Texas State Trooper Brian Encinia at Sandra Bland, a Black woman, in a 2015 video of the rapidly escalating traffic stop that led to Bland's death in police custody. The artist tried to find a response to neutralize this hostile statement. |

It was a nice museum visit. There was enough to see but not so much that we didn't see everything. The only downside is there isn't a cafe. As a bonus to us getting in free with our NARM pass we also got free parking because the ticket machine malfunctioned so the attendant just let us out.
