First Full Day in Baltimore

 Baltimore, MD

Grocery Shopping

Today was our first full day in Baltimore and we were low on food items so we gave up our sweet parking spot and went to the local Harris Teeter.  We love exploring new grocery stores in new areas and Harris Teeter was a good one.  It is regional grocery chain owned by Kroger so it is familiar and different at the same time.  We took our time choosing items that would make good meals and also bought some celebratory steaks and a lemon cake for our Anniversary.  It's our 28th Anniversary today!  Time flies when you are having fun.

Here is a photo of a photo of us on our first real date.
Oh I forgot to mention that the morning started off with a Fun Run going right by our place. You can see our gray van across the street in its sweet parking spot.

After grocery shopping we came back and our parking was taken so we circled the block and found another street that allows infinite parking.  Most of the parking is permit based or 1 hour due to being so close to the ballpark and football stadium but there are a few curbs that allow all day parking and we found another one which was nice.  We will try to do our car moving during the week while people are at work.

Anyway, after parking and unpacking we headed to Suspended Brewing Co.  It is a short walk from our place and only open on Fridays and Saturdays.  They had a nice selection of beers including some sours and the space was very hip and relaxing.  We enjoyed our beers and then headed out a bit earlier than expected because they were having a private event later in the evening.

We are staying in Historic Pigtown thus the pig

We spent the rest of the evening getting more settled and making our anniversary dinner.  It was a great first day and we are still super excited to be in the area for a month.

If you missed our Baltimore arrival day yesterday you can read about it here.
