Leveraging our Reciprocal Passes, and 2 Breweries

 Flagstaff, AZ

 Modern Indigenous Art

Using our Reciprocal Passes

Today we decided to use our Reciprocal Museum Pass and our Reciprocal Botanical Gardens Pass but first, breakfast!

We headed to our first diner breakfast since before Covid.  We enjoyed Hash Browns, Eggs, Sausage, Biscuits, and Chicken Fried Steak at Over Easy Flagstaff.  We each got a greasy spoon breakfast and loved it!  Francis was fine with it too.

"Are you going to give me food?"

Breakfast and Lunch!

After breakfast we took our Botanical Gardens Reciprocal Pass that we got at Descanso Gardens and went to the Arboretum at Flagstaff.  It was the first Botanical Gardens that we have been to that allow dogs, for a $3 fee.  We paid the fee and entered.  It is a really great native gardens with a lot of birds.

We took a dirt road to the entrance.

We saw the Hunt Bumblebee, it was really cool.

Me and my Francis!

After the botanical gardens, Francis was exhausted so we dropped him off and used our NARM pass to go to The Museum of Northern Arizona. The museum's focus was on the First Peoples of Arizona.  We also learned a lot about the Colorado Plateau.

Some Public Art, we didn't even have to pay to see this!

Later in the afternoon we took a bus (the Mountain Line) to downtown Flagstaff.  We visited Mother Road Brewing, a tribute to Route 66 and Dark Skies Brewing.  Dark Skies had some really great beers.

An important PSA

That's one small sip for a man, one giant sip for man kind.

After enjoying downtown Flagstaff, we took the bus back.  It was a great day in a great city.  Tomorrow we head into no cell service so I might not be posting until we get to Grand Junction on the 25th.

Cutting through the park to the bus stop

All aboard!

I like the Mountain Lion being the mascot of the Mountain Line
