Errand Day and Lunch in Curtis Bay

 Curtis Bay, MD

Local Flavor at Stoney Creek Inn

Errands Before We Hit The Road Sunday

Today was a day of errands.  We swung by Kaiser to get our shots and I had a dermatologist give me a once over.  All went very well.  We were in and out in no time.  We were able to use our Kaiser Traveler ID that we got because we are out of town.  It's a great system and if you are with Kaiser and are out of your normal service area.

The rest of the errands consisted of going to PetCo, Target, Home Depot (for hot hands to keep Francis warm while camping in colder weather), and Jiffy Lube for an oil change.  We also did some grocery shopping because tomorrow is cooking and packing day.  We have 2 more full days here in Baltimore.

Lunch

After running errands we went to lunch.  Donna picked out a cool place in Curtis Bay, MD.  The Stoney Creek Inn touts itself as Maryland Comfort Food and it was!  It's located on Stoney Creek which eventually makes its way to The Chesapeake Bay. They had a lot of dishes with crab in them.  Donna got a crab soup and a fish sandwich and I got a Crab Dip topped soft pretzel and a fried oyster po boy.  Lunch was great and it was fun to have some good local food in a fun place.  We also got to drive a few more highways that we haven't driven on yet.  It was really nice with the fall colors starting to change.

The Pretzel had a generous amount of Old Bay sprinkled on it.

The local State Keno was running here.

Free boat parking!

While at Harris Teeter I saw one more thing with Old Bay in it that I missed last time.

We didn't go for them but they are probably good.

That was it for today.  It was a mellow day of driving around and buying things.  If you missed yesterday's post you can find it here.
