A Very Hipster Meal

Canard

This afternoon we went to Canard for happy hour and dinner.  It's been in Portland for about 10 years and is VERY Hipster.  The food is fantastic and the place fills up at opening.  They do a Chef's (read hipster) version of White Castle Burgers and sell them for $4 during happy hour.  We went for the burgers and stayed for the rest of the food.  

That look when vacation keeps going and going and going.

I had a $3 Montucky Cold Snack to start off the hipster experience.

I also took advantage of the $2 oysters.

We split a delicious beef tar tar

And we spit a Duck Stack (not to be confused with this NSFW link), which was described as a Chef's Biscuits and Gravy.  It was amazingly delicious.  We got the optional Foie Gras topper as well. 

I was so excited for the sliders that I didn't take a photo.  If you want to see them you can check out someone else's photo here.  They were awesome and I mentioned that I am glad I don't live upstairs to Donna while eating them.  They were well worth the $4 happy hour price.
